Success Stories at MetroWest Martial Arts & Wellness
"This is the most rewarding activity in which our son has ever taken part..."
Our 8 year old son has been at Metrowest Martial Arts more than two years.
Our goal was to improve his motor skills and to teach him self discipline, control and respect. He has learned so much more! His coordination has improved and he has met new friends. This is the most rewarding activity in which our son has ever taken part. We have been so pleased with the program that our 5 year old son has also now joined the program. MWMA has helped to foster Self Control, Respect and Self Discipline which will guide our children through life.
The teachers really make the difference! With every class, they reinforce the importance of the three rules and they teach the children about honesty, integrity, courtesy and hard work. They do it in a way that is fun so that the kids want to come to class.

"Tyler has greatly increased his self control..."
Mikey has gained immense confidence and much more awareness of his place in space. He is more comfortable moving and can get his kicks above his belt; when he started he couldn’t touch his toes! Tyler has greatly increased his self control. He has found a positive outlet for his energy and great role models at Metrowest Martial Arts. The boys are learning about respect, self control, discipline and exercise in a fun, no pressure atmosphere. The boys want to do their best because the instructors know how to communicate with children and bring out the potential the boys have inside.

"These classes have given my son and daughter more confidence around other children
at their schools..."
The Shaolin Kempo Karate classes at MetroWest Martial Arts Center place an emphasis on Self Control, Respect and Self Discipline. These classes have given my son and daughter more confidence around other children at their schools (i.e. speaking in front of class). They are also more athletic (balance, flexibility and strength) which helps them compete in other sports.
By taking classes concurrently with my children, I have a tremendous opportunity to do something worthwhile while bonding with my children via studying the history of Karate, practicing forms and combinations at home and attending local karate tournaments.

"...I have noticed a great deal of progress both in physically and in his maturity level..."
My son started attending karate at MetroWest Martial Arts about a year and a half ago .Since then I have noticed a great deal of progress both in physically and in his maturity level. This is due in part to the MetroWest Martial arts school.
Master Gallo and Master Baker encourage the kids to work hard, be respectful and have self discipline.I am very pleased with the school and intend to keep my son in it along time .Daniel loves being at MetroWest Martial Arts and looks forward to achieving higher belts all the time . He is committed to learning his forms and combinations .He has also gained confidence and self respect .This has been a great experience for him .

"I thought the teachers made the classes
fun and physical..."
I find Metrowest Martial Arts when I was looking for a kicking boxing program. I thought the teachers made the classes fun and physical. When my daughter was old enough to take the Teen/Adult class, we joined karate. It is a way for us to spend time together - and the teachers are great too!
